Search Functions and Filters

IN ORDER FROM LEFT TO RIGHT:

At the top left of most search pages, there will be 3 lines . This is the most general of the filters. For example, when you click on this filter for “assets,” you will be allowed to filter by whether the asset is active or inactive. When you click on this filter for “work orders,” you will be allowed to filter by whether the order is just a request, if it’s scheduled, if it’s open, closed, etc. At this point, sometimes you will also be prompted with a date range, so you can filter by that as well.

The filter symbol is a bit more specific. Here, you can search directly by naming the specific asset / work order / etc, or you can filter even more by type, status, asset group, etc.

For certain search pages, like the one for work orders, there are two layouts for the search page available.  The first is the default table view with columns giving details of each. The second is the card view, which will show pictures and a little bit more detail. While the table view is more condensed, the card view is bigger. Note that these two layouts are only available for certain search pages; the asset one does not have this feature.

Finally, you can customize what information you want the search page to show you. Clicking the settings symbol allows you to do this, and you can check what columns you want to show.
