What is the difference between the Small QR code and the Large QR code for printing labels?

The different sizes refer to the label dimensions that are set in SOMAX.

• Small label dimensions are 1"X 2 1/8"

• Large label dimensions are 1 1/8" x 3 1/2"

If you are using a Dymo Label Writer 450 printer:

• Small - Dymo 30336 label

• Large - Dymo 30252 label

There is also a difference in the amount of information that is printed on the label.

For Part Labels:

• Small QR Code - QR code with the Part ID, Description, and Location.

• Large QR Code - QR code with the Part ID, Description, Location, Minimum, Maximum, and Manufacturer.

For Equipment Labels:

• Small QR Code - QR code with the Equipment ID, Name, and Serial Number

• Large QR Code - QR code with the Equipment ID, Name, Serial Number, Make, and Model

Because of the size of the label, longer Part Descriptions and Equipment Names may be truncated. if the full description or name is needed, please use the large label size and large QR code.
