Adding a Work Order

There are two ways to create a new work order; the first is as follows:


  1. Click Add New and select Work Order 

  2. Click Type and choose the desired type of work order you wish to create.  

NOTE: These types are set under the lookup lists while setting up your system
  1. Type in a description of the work order, and try to be as specific as possible. 

  1. Click Charge Type and choose Asset

  2. For Charge To, you have two options to find the piece of equipment you are looking for

The Search Icon will produce a search screen to help find the Equipment ID you are looking for

The Tree Icon will produce a Tree Look up that you can break down to find the Equipment ID

  1. Click on the desired Equipment ID to populate the Charge To field

  2. Click Save



The second way is as follows :


  1. Click Maintenance, select Work Orders, and then Search 

  2. Click New Work Order 

  3. Click Type and choose the desired type of work order you wish to create.

  1. Type in a description of the work order, and try to be as specific as possible. 

This is the only required field.

  1. Click Charge Type and choose Asset

  2. For Charge To, you have two options to find the piece of equipment you are looking for
