Assigning Approved Work Orders

This article is for work orders that have already been approved. To see how to approve work orders, visit Approving Work Requests. From there, you can also find an optional method of approving and scheduling work orders simultaneously .


  1. Click Maintenance | Work Orders | Labor Scheduling 

  2. The Scheduled Start is defaulted to the today; simply click the date to select another date

NOTE: the scheduled date cannot be before the current date


  1. Select a user from the Assigned dropdown list that you wish to assign work orders to


NOTE: This will show work orders already assigned to that member


  1. Click Available Work

  2. A new window will be displayed with a list of available work orders 

  3. Select work orders by clicking the checkboxes

  4. When finished selecting work orders, click Add 

  5. Close the Available Work Orders window by clicking Cancel

  6. The selected Work Orders will now be listed for the selected user for the selected calendar date.

 

You can also enter the estimated duration of the work order by performing the following :
  1. Click the Hours column for a work order

  2. Enter the number of hours

  3. Press the tab key, or click elsewhere on the page to save the changes

  4. The estimated total scheduled hours for that day is shown in the Hours field as highlighted below:
