Setting Up Client Account & WO Wizard

Modified on Tue, Aug 27 at 9:38 AM

The Client Setup page is where you can edit your client profile and account, work order completion wizard settings, and form field configuration settings.

This article describes how to navigate the client setup menus, using the left menu.

You can access Client Setup by selecting Configuration from the left sidebar and then selecting  Company from the Configuration Page Left Menu.

Client Setup Overview

The overview is where you can edit most of your client account settings. The following chart should describe each of these fields.

FieldDescription
Client NameYour name for the account.
Primary ContactPerson who is the point of contact in your company for SOMAX to contact
PhonePrimary phone number for the account.
EmailPrimary email address for the account.
Work Order MessageThis message is displayed on Printed Work Orders
Asset TreeWhen Checked indicates that you want to use the Asset Tree
PM Work Order Generation MethodAllows you to preview the auto generated PM Work Orders before they are processed.
Master Sanitation Job Generation MethodAllows you to preview the auto generated Sanitation Jobs before they are processed.

Client Logo

Here you can add a logo for your client account. You may drag and drop a file into the right box or select one from your computer's downloads or desktop by clicking on the orange picture box.

For Enterprise clients with multiple sites this will logo will be used for all sites unless there is a Site Logo loaded. Then the Logo uploaded for that Site will be used rather than the Client Logo

Client Password Settings

Here is where you can edit your password settings, such as the maximum failed login attempts or the requirements for creating a password.

For an Administrator to be able to Reset Passwords from User Management the Allow Administrator to manually rest passwords must be checked.

WO Completion Wizard Settings

The WO Wizard can be used as a checklist or confirmation that every task in a work order has been performed and that the necessary safety & cleanup tasks have been completed before the work order can be marked as "complete". Here you can turn the WO wizard on or off and edit the requirements in it. Below is what a sample WO wizard looks like:

Form Configuration

Here you can edit what appears on the form fields for different processes, such as Work Orders, Purchase Requests and Orders, and Purchase Receipts. Make sure to select Save when done editing each section.
