Setting Up Physical Inventory

This article should describe the process required to ensure that the Parts Physical Inventory will function properly.

Rules & Guidelines for Physical Inventory

1. A count frequency must be entered when adding a new part and will determine when a new inventory count should be scheduled. This count frequency is in days, and it is recommended that the count frequency be between 30 and 360.
2. A last counted date must be entered when adding a new part and is also a factor in determining when a new inventory count should be scheduled. This date is when the count frequency "resetted".
