Work Orders
Model a Work Order
A new function was added to allow the user to model (duplicate) a work order. This function will copy many of the details of the selected work order to a new work order. This includes:
- Work Order Detail columns (Description, Charge To, Type)
- Tasks
- Labor Estimates
- Material Estimates
Reassign Work Order in Labor Scheduling
On the List tab on the Labor Scheduling page, a new function was added that reassigns personnel to selected work order scheduling records. On the List tab, when the user selects work order scheduling records on the grid, an alternate menu bar appears with functions explicitly used for multi select records.
SOMAX added the new function titled Reassign to this menu bar. When the user clicks the Reassign button, the function will display a popup that allows the user to select a personnel record from a dropdown list.
The user will select a personnel record and the function will replace the value of the personnel column for the selected work order schedule records.
Support for Assigning a Planner to a Work Order
SOMAX has added the ability to assign a planner to a work order. The Planner ID column has been added to the Work Order Detail and Search pages. You can also filter your work order searches by Planner too.
Preventive Maintenance
Down Required and Shift Added to PM Forecast and Generation
Down Required and Shift have been added to the PM Forecast
and PM Generation modules.
Also, you will be able to filter the results in each module by Down Required or Shift.
Purchasing
Add Material Request Line Items to Purchase Request
SOMAX has added the ability to place Material Request items as line items on a purchase requests. This will enable the user to order material and have it issued to the corresponding work order of the material request.
Notes from Purchase Request to display on Corresponding Purchase Order
Notes from sourced Purchase Requests will now display on the Notes tab for the Corresponding Purchase Order.
Personnel
Add Views to Personnel Module
SOMAX add views to allow the user see Active and Inactive Users.
Reports
Converted Purchase Order by Account Report to run in Report Viewer
Converted the Purchase Order by Account Report to run in Report Viewer.
This change will allow the user to export to Excel and keep the report formatting.
Convert Asset and Part Labels to run in Report Viewer
Converted all Asset and Part Labels to run in Report Viewer. This will allow more flexibility for printing and improve quality of the label text.
Changes to Asset Downtime Widget
On the Asset Downtime Widget on the Dashboard page, added a Yesterday Filter
and ability to Export Widget.
New Reports
Four new reports were added to this update:
- Open Purchase Orders by Vendor
- Top 10 Assets by Unplanned Labor Hours
- PM Percent Complete by Asset Group 2
- Summary Top 10 Assets by Downtime by Date Down
Sanitation
Add Sanitation Request from Work Order Module
SOMAX added the ability to allow the user to create a sanitation request from the Work Order module. The request would be linked to the maintenance work order for auditing purposes.
Add Maintenance Work Request from Sanitation Job
SOMAX added the ability to allow the user to create a maintenance work request from the Sanitation Job module. The request would be linked to the sanitation job for auditing purposes.
Convert Sanitation Job Form to run on DevExpress Report Viewer
Converted the Sanitation Job Form to run in Report Viewer.
Added Assigned to Me to the Sanitation Job View List
The view would show Sanitation Jobs where Assigned To is equal to the logged in user and Status is equal to Scheduled.
Bug Fixes
Work Orders
- Daily Labor Scheduling - Removed formatting on work order number that made it look like a hot link.
- Unplanned Work Orders - User Interface Configuration changes are not being honored when Adding Unplanned Work Orders when using the Describe What You Need option.
- Daily Labor Scheduling - When you select available work orders ,the list that is displayed will only display the first page. Other pages will not display any data even though there are work orders to display.
- Work Order Search - Filter is not working correctly when the Work Order Search page is set to the Card View. The Filter columns Down Required, Assigned User and Required Date are not returning the correct results.
Preventive Maintenance
- PM Forecast - When trying to generate a PM Forecast for multiple months out, the process is timing out and returning a Something Went Wrong Error. Since the process could take a great deal of time, we would like to make changes like what was done in reports. The PM Generate process should have the pop-up that says it will take up to 4 minutes.
- Preventive Maintenance - The Filter by Assigned function is still using the PM Assigned To column to filter the PM Scheduling records. It should be using the PM Scheduling Assign To column.
Parts
- Android Mobile Part Search - The tab key was showing instead of the Enter key in the keyboard display when searching for parts.
Sanitation
- Mobile - Added Labor and Notes Tabs to Mobile Sanitation Detail page.
- Printing - Generated Sanitation Jobs only allowing only 50 max to be printed.
- Sanitation Job Search - Added Clear Grid Function.
- Mobile - Sanitation Slide out does not remain in place after viewing the Detail page then returning to the Search page.
System Configuration
- User Management - Filters User Type, Shift or Siteare not honored when you export the results.
- User Management - There is a page refresh issue after using Change User Name function.
