This article describes how to setup and use SOMAX User Single Sign On or SSO.
Adding Single Sign On or SSO for a User
- From the left sidebar select Configuration. This should direct you to the configuration dashboard.
- From the left sidebar select User Management. Here you should be able to view all existing users within the system.
- Select the desired user to setup Single Sign On for.
- From the Overview Page Select Edit
- Then Single Sign On from the Left Menu
- Enter the Google ID or Microsoft ID or Windows AD User ID(Active Directory) for the selected user.
- It is only necessary to enter one of the Secured User IDs for Single Sign On to work. The user will select that method when Logging into SOMAX from the user Login Page
- Once you have entered the desired information Select Save.
- For instance the user below only has the Google ID entered. This user will use the Continue with Google Button when Logging In.
Logging in using Single Sign On
- From the Login Page you Do NOT need to enter a User Name or Password when using Single Sign On.
- Select your desired choice either Click Continue with Google to use your Google ID or Click Continue with Microsoft to user your Microsoft ID or Windows AD User ID.
