Before creating an Assignment record you must first create a PM Schedule Record. For more general information on Preventive Maintenance see About Preventive Maintenance.
Assigning a PM Schedule record
You may add one or add multiple users to a single PM Schedule record. If you do not add an assignment record when PM Generation is run the generated work order will be created with a Status of 'Approved' when you add an Assignment record the generated work order will be created with a Status of 'Scheduled' and the work order will be displayed on the Assigned users list of assigned work orders.
The steps for adding the schedule record are:
- From the Preventive Maintenance Overview page
- Select the three dots ... on the Schedule Record
- A pop up appears (you may have to scroll on the pop up for the Assignments to appear)
- Select Assignments
- Select the desired user
- Add Estimated hours this is optional
- You may repeat steps 5 and 6 for additional users
- Click Save
- Close the user selection popup by Clicking the X in the upper right corner
