After you have added all of the work orders you would like to be completed you should lock your plan. All of the work orders included in your locked plan will be marked as planned. After locking your plan, any other work orders you add will be marked as break-in work.
Once you lock your plan the ribbon menu will change, and now you will be allowed to schedule your work orders.
There may be occasions where you have already locked your work order plan but have determined that you need to add other planned work orders. To do this, you will have to unlock your plan.
This article should describe how to do either.
Locking your Work Order Plan
- First, from the left sidebar, select Maintenance, then Work Order, then Planning.
- Select the ID of the plan you'd like to lock. If you cannot find it, use the filters to broaden or refine your search.
- The plan should open in the planning tab. Select Lock Plan
- The system will lock the plan and the ribbon menu will change.
Unlocking your Work Order Plan
- From the plan's ribbon menu, select UnLock Plan.
- The system will un-lock the plan and the ribbon menu will change
