This article should describe how to cancel a work order, view any past canceled work orders, and reopen past canceled work orders. You may cancel any work order that has not been completed yet.
Canceling a Work Order
- From the left sidebar, select Maintenance, then Work Orders, then Search.
- Select the work order you would like to cancel. If you cannot find it, check your settings and filters at the top. For more help, see Filtering and Viewing Work Orders/Requests.
- At the top right, select Cancel. Select a cancel reason and fill out any comments that you may have. These fields are optional.
- Select Save.
Viewing Past Canceled Work Orders
- From the left sidebar, select Maintenance, then Work Orders, then Search.
- At the top left, select the grey box with three lines.
- Select Canceled or Denied Work Orders. You should now be able to view past canceled work orders.
Reopening Canceled Work Orders
- Once you are able to view past canceled work orders, select the one you would like to reopen.
- At the top right, select Action and then Reopen. A confirmation to reopen should appear.
- Select Yes.
