Under the Asset Additional Information Accordion, there’s “parts” and “part issues”. What is the difference ?

To view the asset additional information accordion:

1. Click Maintenance | Assets 

2. Click the asset you wish to view. On the left hand side is the accordion, and there should be two categories, “parts,” and “part issues.”

The difference between these two is that "parts" are editable, and are just a list of parts that relate to this asset. You can completely customize however the asset is built. "Part issues" are not editable. It is just a list of part issues and returns, such as when you need to buy a new part. It acts as more of a record/report/history of part transactions.
