Parts that have a Quantity on Hand or are on an active Purchase Request or Purchase Order are not able to be set to Inactive
Click Inventory
Click Part
Select the Part you wish to set to Inactive and go to the Part Detail Page
Select the Action Menu
Select Inactivate from the Drop Down List
The Part has now been set to Inactive
