Generating a Part Cycle Count

Modified on Mon, Aug 26 at 11:09 AM

Part cycle counts involve taking physical inventory of parts to make sure that inventory records are accurate.

The parts involved in the count depend on their count frequency, which can be updated or changed in the part's information section.

For more help adjusting count frequency, see Editing Parts.

Generating Part Cycle Counts

  1. From the left sidebar, select Inventory and then Cycle Count.
  2. Select the date by which you would like to have the counts by, and filter any parts using the filter section.
  3. Select Process. Any parts that need to be counted within the date range (depending on their count frequency) will appear.
  4. Enter the quantities of the parts counted under the count section.
    1. Only those parts which you actually enter a count for will be updated. If the quantity on hand is 0 you must enter 0 in the count and get the green check for the part to be counted.
  5. Select Record Count once finished. The part's inventory will now be updated.
