To ensure the most efficient path possible, SOMAX has created the Approval Workbench, where managers can both approve/deny sanitation requests and schedule/assign them.
This article describes how to navigate the approval workbench.
The Approval Workbench
To access, from the left sidebar select Sanitation, then Jobs, and then Approval. Below is what a default workbench may look like.
If you cannot find any requests or the one you are looking for, use the dropdown menus at the top to select Show All Assigned and change the date range you are viewing. Now, your workbench may appear like this:
Approving, Denying, and Scheduling Requests
- Use the checkboxes in the left most column of each request to select each request you would like to approve/deny. Note that you must approve and deny in separate batches.
- Before you approve, you may schedule them. Use the dropdown menus and typing boxes to select the personnel you wish to assign the work to, the shift, the schedule date, and the estimated duration.
- Once done scheduling, scroll down and select Approve or Deny.
