Change a Part ID

You must have a Security Profile that allows you to Change a Part ID. If you need to perform this function and do not have access, please see your site Administrator.

This article describes how to Change a Part ID. Your Part ID must follow these Validation Rules:

• Only Upper Case Alpha
• Digits 0 - 9
• Special Characters $  %  *  +  - .  /

Changing a Part ID

1. From the Part Detail Page Select the Action Menu
2. From the Action Menu Select Change Part ID
3. Enter the New Part ID
4. Click Save
