The PM Forecast is process that will generate and show you a Forecast of upcoming PM jobs. The Forecast Generation can only be used for on demand or calendar type jobs, as meter types are based off of a recorded reading rather than a schedule.
This article describes how to use the PM forecast.
Using the PM Forecast
- From the left sidebar, select Maintenance, then Preventive Maintenance, and then Forecast.
- Select the job type (calendar or on demand), and the date through wish you would like to Forecast jobs through.
- Select Process.
- A list of PMs will appear that meet the selected Generate Through Date.
A sample forecast is shown below:

Description | Description of the Preventive Maintenance Master Job. |
Scheduled | Date the Work Order will be Scheduled For |
Required Date | Date the Work Order is Required to be Completed by |
Assigned To | User(s) the Work Order is Assigned To |
Charge To | Asset ID the Work Order is Charged To |
Charge To Name | Asset Name the Work Order is Charged To |
Duration | Duration of the Preventive Maintenance Master |
Labor Hours | Total Labor Hours from Preventive Maintenance Estimating Tab |
Labor Cost | Total Labor Cost from Preventive Maintenance Estimating Tab |
Other Cost | Total Other Cost from Preventive Maintenance Estimating Tab |
Material Cost | Total Material Cost from Preventive Maintenance Estimating Tab |
Down Required | When Checked the Asset must be Down to perform the work |
Shift | Shift assigned to the Preventive Maintenance Schedule Record |
